This is my first time buying a self-cleaning water bottle and I found this one to be a very good deal compared to the alternatives and it works great. First of all, the reason I finally opted for a self-cleaning water bottle was that I was tired of using the same water bottle with the cap getting infected with fungus. I washed it frequently with soapy water and it would always end up with some fungus growing either in the cap or the bottom of the bottle within a day or two. Then I learned about self-cleaning water bottles. They were a little pricier than I was used to but it's definitely worth it. This bottle is very easy to clean and I don't actually need to clean it that often, I just run the UV cleaning cycle every couple of days and that seems to do the trick most of the time (I only use it for water and sometimes some liquid water flavoring). The cap screws on and is completely waterproof so far. The vacuum insulation works well too. I often fill it up with ice water in the evening and it's still cold the next day, so I'd say it keeps things cold for at least 8-12 hours. I brought it with me while doing errands for a few hours without any ice and the water stayed cold in my hot car -- impressive. Lastly, the UV cleaner seems to be working based on the fact that I've never really felt like it's needed to be cleaned -- no sign of fungus like with my plastic bottles. The window in front of the light did get a little cloudy (see picture) so the seal isn't great but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I use it about once every other day on average and I'm still on my first charge after 3.5 weeks. I do like that it's rechargeable and it has a magnetic charging cable for charging (the gray rubber gasket comes off to expose the charging points. One recommendation, if you're putting ice in it, I would fill it up halfway with water first to cushion the fall as you drop your ice cubes in so it doesn't make dents in the nice silver bottom of your new water bottle.

I lost my my bottle 2 weeks ago so I decided to search for a new water bottle online due Covid and while I was doing this I saw that there are some self cleaning water bottles on Amazon. I didn't know this kind of techology! This product in specific seemed very attractive because the price is much lower than other brands and at the beginning I wasn't sure of this product so I didn't want to expend a lot of money.

I'm happy that I decided to buy this kind of bottle because now I don't have to worry about germs getting attached on it. This bottle is very easy to use because I just have to charge the bottle, fill it with water and then press the bottom once this is done the water tastes different for a couple of minutes. I honestly don't like the flavor so what I do it's to wait 5 more minutes before I drink it also, one of the things I wish this product could have it's a bigger size because I sometimes run off of water when I'm walking.

This is perfect for making sure I am drinking water that isn't contaminated.
